The blue bird fly a golden flight
On December 12 last year, Twitter launched a program to blue tick individual accounts in exchange for money. Then the micro-blogging platform decided to remove the old blue tick from the account from April 1. This blue bird authority could not do much in the verification business in exchange for money.
According to Sensor Tower, in the first 3 months, Twitter earned 1 million dollars by adding blue ticks to the Twitter accounts of phone users in 20 countries. This includes annual registrants' money. Due to non-availability of information on computer users, it was not possible to know the actual income. However, it is assumed that the amount will not be very high. As a result, questions have arisen about the success of the blue tick program in exchange for money.
In such a situation, Golden Tick facility has been introduced to ensure the identity of the account to others. 1000 dollars will be spent every month to start this facility called 'Verified Organization'. The service is currently available in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the UK. Under the verified organization facility, golden ticks can also be added to the official Twitter accounts of various officials of the organization. That is, various people associated with the organization can also add golden ticks to their Twitter accounts. However, to get this benefit, you have to spend $50 per month for each additional golden tick.
